Q1 Is this line designed for craft/microbrewery scale, or can it handle large commercial brewery volumes? |
This beer filling machine line is designed for both craft/microbrewery and large commercial brewery volumes, offering scalable capacity from 1,000 to 24,000+ bottles or cans per hour.
For craft/microbrewery scale: Compact footprint, lower output (e.g.,1,000–10,000BPH),easy changeover, and affordable pricing.
For large commercial volumes: High-speed filling (10,000–24,000+ BPH), multi-head filling valves (e.g., 32–100 heads), automatic CIP/SIP, and integration with pasteurizers, labellers, and packers. |
|
Q2 What bottle types are supported — glass bottles only, or also cans and PET? |
Our beer filling machine supports glass bottles, aluminum cans, and PET bottles — offering flexible packaging solutions for breweries of all sizes. Glass bottles (standard and custom shapes) Aluminum cans (sleek, pop-top, or craft beer cans) PET bottles (lightweight, shatterproof, recyclable)
We also support multi-type bottle changeovers with minimal adjustments, making our machine ideal for craft breweries, commercial beer production lines, and contract packaging. |
|
Q3 Do you include a tunnel pasteurizer in the beer line? What is the pasteurization unit (PU) range? |
Yes, a tunnel pasteurizer is commonly included in the beer bottling and canning line, especially for producing stable, shelf-ready packaged beer. It is typically placed after the filler and seamer, and before the labeller and packer. The standard PU range for beer tunnel pasteurizers is:
15 – 25 PU for most lagers and ales Up to 40–60 PU for high-ABV, high-sugar, or sour beers 1 PU = exposure at 60°C for 1 minute
Typical tunnel pasteurizer temperature zones: Pre-heating → Pasteurization (60–65°C) → Cooling |
|
Q4 What is the minimum order quantity or minimum production capacity for your beer bottling line? |
For our beer bottling line, the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1 set (one complete bottling line). We do not require a high MOQ for components.
Minimum Production Capacity: 1,000 to 2,000 bottles per hour (BPH) for beer bottling lines, suitable for microbreweries and startup craft beer brands. |
|
Q5 How does your filling machine prevent oxygen pickup (DO — dissolved oxygen) during beer filling? |
Our beer filling machine is specifically engineered to minimize dissolved oxygen (DO) pickup and preserve beer freshness, flavor stability, and shelf life. Below are the key technologies we use to achieve low DO levels (typically <30–50 ppb total packaged DO):
1. CO₂ Purging / Pre-evacuation Before filling, each bottle or can is flushed with food-grade CO₂ to displace ambient air. This reduces initial oxygen content in the container to near zero, preventing early-stage oxidation.
2. Counter-pressure Filling with Inert Gas Our filler uses a counter-pressure filling system where CO₂ or nitrogen is applied to the container before beer flow starts. This balances pressure and eliminates oxygen ingress during the fill cycle.
3. Vacuum + CO₂ Rinsing (for cans) For canning lines, we employ double pre-evacuation or vacuum-assisted CO₂ rinsing, removing air from empty cans more effectively than standard purging.
4. Low-turbulence Filling Valves Our electronic or mechanical filling valves ensure smooth, laminar beer flow — avoiding splashing, foaming, or air entrapment. Less turbulence means less oxygen pickup during transfer.
5. Foam-on-fill / Snifting We use controlled foam creation (often via CO₂ or beer foam) at the end of filling. The foam acts as an oxygen barrier before sealing. An optional snifting step purges residual oxygen from the bottle headspace with CO₂ just before capping.
6. Integrated Dissolved Oxygen Monitoring Our machines can be equipped with inline DO sensors (real-time, upstream and downstream) to continuously track oxygen levels and trigger automatic adjustments — ensuring consistently low DO values.
7. Oxygen-free Product Supply The filler is connected to a brewhouse or bright beer tank through deaerated lines. We also recommend deaerated water (DAW) and CO₂ purging of all supply pipes before start-up.
8. Sealed Filling Bowl & Hygienic Design The filling bowl operates under a pressurized, oxygen-excluded environment with a closed loop CO₂ blanket. All gaskets, seals, and valve materials are oxygen-barrier rated and designed for CIP/SIP without oxidation risks. |
|
Q6 Can the line handle both crown cap (bottle cap) and screw cap closure types? |
Yes, this beer filling line can handle both crown cap (bottle cap) and screw cap closure types. Our machine is designed with changeable capping heads and adjustable parameters to support quick changeovers between crown caps and aluminum cap, but screw cap for plastic bottles normally need separate filling machine with glass bottle crown caps. |
|
Q7 What is the standard CIP (clean-in-place) configuration for the beer filling machine? |
When operating a rotary beer filling machine (monoblock), maintaining microbiological stability is critical. The Standard CIP configuration refers to the integrated system of pumps, valves, tanks, and spray devices designed to clean the filler bowl, filling tubes, and product pathways without disassembling the machinery |
|
Q8 Is your equipment suitable for filling craft beer with live yeast (bottle-conditioned beer)? |
Yes, our filling equipment is fully suitable for crafting bottle-conditioned beer containing live yeast. |
|
Q9 What is the lead time for manufacturing a beer bottling line, and how long does installation take? |
For a complete beer bottling line (including rinser, filler, crowner, labeler, and packer), the lead time typically ranges from 30 to 90 days depending on customization, capacity (e.g., 1,000–24,000BPH), and Installation time varies by line complexity and site readiness. Key factors affecting timelines: On-site preparation – floors, utilities (compressed air, steam, CO2), and bottle rinsing water must be ready. |
|
Q10 Do you provide operator training? In what languages is training available? |
Yes, we provide comprehensive operator training for our beer filling machines.
Training is available in English and Chinese Our training covers: Machine startup and shutdown procedures Filling pressure and temperature control CIP (Clean-in-Place) operations Basic troubleshooting and maintenance Safety protocols We can also provide customized training materials in additional languages upon request. |
